IMPORTANT: Weather Conditions (humidity and rain) can dictate timing of when protection can be laid over a slab. If a slab encounters rain for an extended period soon after pour, then the moisture in the slab will still be at a high level. Therefore, you may need to wait longer before placing any type of protection on the slab. We recommend moisture testing with a moisture meter, such as a Wagner Meter to confirm surface pH is below 11.0 and relative humidity (RH) is 80% or lower, before deciding to apply surface protection.
