Honcho surface protection site

Sydney Football Stadium

The Sydney Football Stadium redevelopment has seen a number of Honcho products being utlised to protect surfaces and help keep workers & pedestrians safe.

Honcho Chief Board - Concrete wall protection (voms). Chief boards were cut and shaped to temporarily attach to the concrete surrounds of stadium staircase walls. The protection will help ensure the voms are free from defects such as staining and impact.

Honcho Boss Mat HD - Boss mats have been laid out on stadium upper levels as well stadium ground levels to provide clearly designated pedestrian thoroughfares.

Skudo HT Commercial System - The HT Commercial system has been temporarily adhered to concrete stairs, landings and upper level walkways.

Sydney Opera House

Honcho Supplies provided Impact Protection Boards and Temporary Adhesive Mats to the Sydney Opera House’s $275 million high-profile renewal project. Surface protection was supplied for existing surfaces on site, including the concert hall, external site areas, and various internal thoroughfares.
The supply of the Sydney Opera House renewal project required meeting specialised requirements – including the custom protection of existing internal concrete, and zero residue being left anywhere across the site from adhesive protection materials in situ for nine months.
Our impact protection boards have been used to protect a variety of surfaces include external & internal granite and timber surfaces within the main concert hall.

Sydney Modern Project

Sydney Modern Project
In 2022, Honcho had the opportunity to provide surface protection to Richard Crookes for the Sydney Modern Project.
As part of the construction, a heritage oil storage tank was refurbished, and our Honcho Fire Rated Chief boards were used to protect the concrete flooring from EWPs and general construction activity.
The project involved multiple sections and necessitated the use of numerous meters of Honcho Fire Rated Boss Mats to ensure the safe movement of workers from one area to another.

Order Collection

Orders for collection are available from our Erskine Park and Derrimut warehouses between the hours of 7.30am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday. We work with a third party warehouse provider, therefore all orders must be arranged in advance with one of the Honcho Team members prior to collection.
