Skudo HT Commercial Mat 2m x 37.5m
The HT Commercial Mat is an engineered, purpose built, temporary surface protection system.
Designed with a highly durable topical surface, the mat is ideal for protecting concrete, while allowing the slab underneath to breathe. Reducing the risk of hydration (cure) lines.
The HT Commercial Mat protects from light machinery damage, spills, water, rust, paint, dirt, angle grinding & welding sparks and more.
Protects surfaces for up to 12 months internally and 9 months externally.
The Skudo HT Commercial Mat (2m x 37.5m roll) can be used as either:
(a) Loose Lay (one-part system)
or
(b) Temporarily Adhered with Skudo Base Coat (two-part system)

- Protects most surfaces, including freshly placed concrete as early as 14 days. *Note: This is subject to slab thickness, mix design, weather, etc. *Please contact your Honcho Rep to determine suitability (please note: Ensure the surface pH is below 11.0 and relative humidity (RH) is 80% or lower prior to placing protection over the slab. We recommend moisture testing with a moisture meter, such as a Wagner Meter).

- Areas can be polished and protected before interior walls are erected. Framing can be placed over the top of the Commercial System, which then can be left in place underneath

- Works as a blank canvas for all types of construction marks and layouts - won’t stain or damage surface
Limitations:
- Do not dilute.
- Should not be applied to concrete exposed to excessive moisture.
- Skudo must be kept dry for 24 hours after installation.
- Do not apply if the temperature of the concrete or air temperature is below 40º F (4º C).
- If installing over sealed, guarded or protected concrete or terrazzo, it is critical sealer is fully cured. Dry to the touch is not sufficient. Always consult a Skudo Representative for compatibility.
- When installing loose lay (dry lay), avoid excessive taping on the overlap of the matting, to assist with minimising the possibility of hydration marks*. For polished concrete we also recommend laying geo fabric under the Skudo HT Commercial mat.
- Lay over entire slab for best results.
- If the Commercial System (application of mat & base coat) is exposed to excessive standing water, extremely heavy rainfall or drainage runoff, water can soften the mat, breaking the bond between the protected substrate and
- Skudo Base Coat. If this occurs, normal light traffic may damage the Mat. Drain or squeegee water off the affected area and attempt to keep traffic off the mat until it has dried. Once dried, the mat will return to its original strength and in most cases will re-adhere to the substrate.
- *Please make sure to speak with your Honcho representative prior to product selection, as some substrates, such as, but not limited to concrete, terrazzo, and stone, may not be suitable in certain circumstances’.
